A proposal to revise naturalizations lists held to be discriminatory against persons who automatically obtained citizenship in territories annexed to Rumania by post-war treaty, has been dropped, it was learned today.

It will be replaced by a new scheme, said to have been drafted by the Government to comply with treaties guaranteeing rights of minorities. The new scheme resulted, it was stated, from the intervention of Dr. William Filderman, president of the Union of Rumanian Jews.

Dr. Filderman, after submitting to Premier Tatarescu a memorandum challenging the constitutionality of the original proposal, interviewed cabinet members and leaders of the Conservative, Liberal and other parties.
