Residents of the small town of Tubas in Samaria took over the local police station Sunday in protest against the “completion of the separate peace treaty with Egypt.” A small force of Israeli security personnel who were summoned to the town evacuated the Arabs by using tear gas and firing shots into the air. A local policemen was wounded during the operation. Aside from this incident, there was relative quiet in the territories today.
