Five prominent Americans, including the poet Robert Frost, received the Miami Israel Cultural Awards here at a dinner conducted by the Great Miami Israel Bond Organization. The others, to whom the awards were presented by Dr. Henry King Stanford, president of the University of Miami, were; Cellist Leonard Rose, author Philip Wylie, scientist Joseph Weil and architect A. Herbert Mathes.

The awards, the first granted here, were made at a Festival of Arts, attended by 750. The dinner was preceded by an exhibit of new works by leading Israeli artists brought here for the occasion by Yurika Mann, director of the Jerusalem Art Center.
