Romania is establishing a commission to investigate the Holocaust in that country. The commission, which will be headed by Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel, a native of Sighet, in what is now Romania, was announced Wednesday by Romanian President Ion Iliescu.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
