The patriotism of American Jews is praised by President Roosevelt in a letter to the 44th annual encampment of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States opening here Aug. 20 which was made public today National Commander Isador S. Worth.
“From the Revolutionary War to the World War Jewish citizens of the United States have given of their services and money to promote the cause of their country,” the message said. “I congratulate you upon the service rendered our country by your members and by those of the Jewish faith throughout the years of our Republic and hope you may have a very successful convention.”
