Roosevelt Names Henry Monsky to National Civilian Defence Committee

President Roosevelt has named Henry Monsky, of Omaha, president of B’nai B’rith, to the membership of the National Volunteer Participation Committee, which will act as an advisory and planning body in the organization of the Office of Civilian Defense, headed by Mayor LaGuardia.

B’nai B’rith has engaged in numerous national defense activities in cooperation with the government and other national organizations.
