Ernest A. Grunsfeld, nephew of the late Julius Rosenwald, won first prize of $2,500 in a competition to design and decorate the interior of a theatre to be incorporated in the new building being erected for WGN, the Chicago Tribune radio station.
The winner, who designed the Adler Planetarium, won over 182 competitors, including many of the leading architects of the country. He is thirty-one.
