A special conference of the Roumanian cabinet is now considering taking steps to suppress the dangerous anti-Semitic propaganda in Roumania, especially the propaganda now being carried on by the Cuzists in the villages, in which they are promising the peasants to confiscate and divide among them Jewish property should they come into power.

This propaganda is harming the prestige of the government party among the masses, and the Ministerial Council has therefore decided to take drastic steps against this Cuzist propaganda. It has given orders to use the gendarmerie as well as the police in all districts to suppress this subversive extremist propaganda, anti-Semitic as well as communist, since it serves to undermine the existence of the present Roumanian government.
