Russian newspaper editors are protesting after security officials searched the offices of the Russian Jewish Congress’ leader. Most Russian analysts believe the search conducted last week against media mogul Vladimir Goussinsky, who has criticized Russia’s war against Chechen separatists, was politically motivated.
