The late Samuel Paley, noted philanthropist whose interests embraced many local, national, Israeli and Jewish causes, left an estate valued at $27,000,000, according to his will, filed for probate today.
After making a number of personal bequests, Mr. Paley left the bulk of his estate to two family foundations–the Samuel Paley Foundation and the William S. Paley Foundation. The will ordered that the directors of the two foundations are to determine the recipients and amounts of specific charities to receive funds from the estate.
