Sandy Berger, President Clinton’s national security adviser, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for removing classified documents from the National Archives. Berger, who is Jewish, entered his plea last Friday. In 2003, Berger removed and shredded documents related to his testimony to the Sept. 11 commission.
