The Government has no reason to suspect that arms are being smuggled into Palestine for the use of Jews, an Agudath Israel delegation was assured today by Sir John Hathorn-Hall, acting high commissioner.

Sir John informed the delegation, representing the orthodox Jewish community, that Palestine security was satisfactory and that the Government has warned the Arab press to stop its agitation against the Jews. He disclosed also that the Government has prohibited the entrance of certain Arab publication published abroad.
