School to Prepare Jewish Religious Teachers Opened in Casablanca

A School for Advanced Talmudic Studies was opened here to prepare religious teachers for Ozar Hatorah schools throughout Morocco Fifty students enrolled in the first class.

Two other advanced religious schools are currently operating within the Moroccan Jewish community. One prepares Hebrew teachers for schools operated by the Alliance Israelite Universelle and the other prepares competent religious leaders for posts on Jewish religious courts.
