Second Jew Promoted to Rank of General in Brazil Within Fortnight

For the second time in a fortnight, the Brazilian Army today promoted a Jewish officer to the rank of general. The officer is the former Colonel Aaron Benschimol, an active member of the Sephardic community, who, this morning, was made a brigadier general. Two weeks ago, Rafael Zipin, a Jew, of Porte Allegre, was also promoted to brigadier general. Gen.
