Appeals for the strengthening of Hebrew in the United States were voiced at a convention of the Histadruth Ivrith, organization for Hebrew culture, at the Hotel Statler yesterday, attended by 400 persons. Speakers included Bernard Isaacs, Menachem Ribalow, Rabbi Hirshman, Abraham Goldberg, president of the Histadruth, Abraham Spicehandler and Maurice Zackheim.
