Sen. Martin Clarifies Stand on American Council for Judaism

Sen. Edward Martin, Pennsylavania Republican, issued a statement making it clear that he does not support the objectives of the American Council for Judaism.

He made the statement to clarify publicity given by the Council to a letter of greeting which the Council solicitied from him before its convention opened at Philadelphia last week. Sen. Martin made known that his letter was “merely a letter of greetings to an organization but in no way was an endorsement of any program derogatory to the development and progress of the State of Israel. “
