The Senate Investigating Sub-Committee today turned over to the Army for transmission to President Truman the records of its hearings in the case of Ilse Koch, convicted Nazi war criminal whose life sentence was commuted to four years.
A statement released by the office of Sen. Homer Ferguson, chairman of the sub-committee, said that President Truman was “undoubtedly in a position to correct any injustice in the reduction of this woman’s sentence if he so desires.”
