The tour of Dr. Ben Zion in the Arab-speaking countries on behalf of the Keren Hayesod has yielded excellent results, it is reported. He has found the Sephardic Jews in the Orient eager to help in the work of reconstruction in Palestine. One prominent Sephardic Jew has legally made over to the Keren Hayesod a sum of £50,000 payable after his death. It is understood that the Keren Hayesod will proceed to mortgage this sum immediately in order to be able to use the money for work in Palestine.
