The Sephardic rabbinical seminary of Etz-Chaim, founded by Spanish Jews who found refuge from the Inquisition in Holland, will celebrate its three hundredth anniversary July 5. The seminary library, the “Livraria Montezines,” is world famous for its collection of Judaica, Hebraica and ancient manuscripts.
