Settlement of Jewish refugees in vacant territory in Canada has been urged here by Nellie McClung, author and Canadian delegate to the League of Nations. Miss McClung, who is touring Ontario in the interests of refugees, asserted that they had displayed their value and enterprise in the economic life of the countries accepting them and had illustrated that Jews can work on the land.
