Shanghai Jews Must Emigrate Because of Unrest

The warfare in China has affected adversely the Jewish community of Shanghai, according to reports received by the United Emigration Committee here.

The Sephardic and Ashkenazic communities in Shanghai together number 3,000. Many of the Jewish artisans, workers and traders have been compelled to leave Shanghai. Many have gone to Harbin.
