The Synagogue Council of America, through its president, Rabbi Herbert S. Goldstein, today issued a call to the rabbis of the country to offer special prayers during the Sabbath service on Saturday, January 27, for the health of president Roosevelt, for a wise administration in his new term of office and for the success of his forthcoming conference with Mr. Churchill and Mr. Stalin. The Synagogue Council of America represents the orthodox, conservative and reform Jewish congregations and their rabbis.
