Since the start of the Palestinian uprising two years ago, 145 suicide bombers have been dispatched to carry out attacks in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Israeli officials said. The figure, based on data compiled by the Shin Bet domestic security service, includes would-be bombers caught before carrying out attacks, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported.
