Sir Stafford Cripps, young deputy leader of the British Labor Party, was the chief accuser at the “trial” of Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuss, held by the Young Circle League at Town Hall last night.
Sir Stafford, who rushed to New York by plane from Washington to be present at the trial, charged Dollfuss, with murdering Austrian Socialists during the recent uprisings. Norman Thomas and other Socialists also spoke.
