Mr. and Mrs. Jones Adler of 1050 Park avenue announce the birth of their second son, Robert Victor. Mrs. Adler is the former Louise Victor.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kahn of Lawrence, L. I., were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Orenstein in Deal, N. J.

An especially gay crowd was to be seen last week-end at the Ross Fenton Farm. Among those present were Harry Spitzer, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Romm, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Strachan, Mr. and Mrs. F. Fanford, Judge Breslin, Walter Steinbach, Ray Devoe, Dr. Schanick, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sisholtz, Harry Tepper, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Rachlin, Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Gross, and David Sachs. Henry King’s orchestra, as a special feature, played a new song by Herb Mandell and Frank Littau, “By the Rio Grande.”

Mrs. Clarence G. Milheiser of the Ritz Tower, New York, is summering at the Manoir Richelieu, Murray Bay, Canada.

Andre Baruch of the Columbia Broadcasting System, Mrs. Baruch, and their family are at the Rifton Hotel, Rifton, N. Y.

At the Red Swan, Warwick, N. #., the following are among those spending the last weeks of the summer season: Judge Albert Lieberman, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob L. Lowenstein, Dr. and Mrs. Louis C. Lowenstein, Dr. and Mrs. Ralph Levy, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sulzburger, Mr. and Mrs. I. Holden, Mr. and Mrs. L. Prager, Mrs. Jean Horwich and Dr. and Mrs. B. Fischl. The golf tournament played over the weekend at the Red Swan was won by David Wax and Al Schlesinger. Dr. A. Fischl was victor in the tennis match.

Europe-bound for a late season trip are: Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bloomfield, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hess, Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Stern and Miss Barbara Stern, Dr. M. H. Feldman and the Misses Eleanor and Naomi Feldman, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Goldsmith, Mr. and Mrs. M. Theodore Rosenberg and Albert G. Dreyfous.

Vichy, France, is at present the rendezvous of some of the most prominent New Yorkers. Bernard M. Baruch is taking the cure there as well as Mr. and Mrs. Max Steuer, and former Senator Simon Guggenheim, George Blumenthal of Paris and New York, president of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Mrs. Edwin Foreman, and Julius Lichtenstein are also guests at Vichy, staying at the Hotel du Parc.
