An Israel Defense Force soldier was killed Wednesday in a work accident at an army base in northern Israel.
Staff Sgt. Freddy Michael, 20, of Kiryat Bialik, died after he was struck by a tank turret while working in an ammunition shop.
The army was investigating the incident.
