Some Iranian Jewish emigres sued former Iranian President Mohammed Khatami. The seven families, who currently live in Los Angeles and Israel, are suing Khatami for allegedly instituting policies that prevented them from gaining information about their relatives, who were arrested between 1994 and 1997 as they tried to leave Iran and cross into Pakistan.
