South African Jewish Board of Deputies’ leaders, the South African Zionist Federation, the South African PEN Center and other cultural groups attended the launching here recently of a book of poems, “Unrest,” by Edgar Bernstein, Jewish Telegraphic Agency correspondent in South Africa. Bernstein delivered a lecture on poetry in the past 50 years.
