One of the most successful campaigns in the recent history of fund-raising in the Jewish community here was started here at a meeting addressed by Rabbi Joseph M. Taxay of Terre Haute, when more than half of the city’s quota for the United Jewish Appeal was raised.

Maurice Tucker is chairman of the South Bend campaign. The other officers are David Fischgrund, treasurer, and Rabbi Albert M. Shulman, secretary.
