Soviet Air Force Lt. Gen. Ivan Kazhedub said in Moscow today that Soviet citizens have volunteered to fight alongside the Arabs against Israel in the Middle East, according to press reports received here.
The Moscow reports said that volunteer applications were still coming in from Soviet citizens who offered to fight against Jews. The Soviet press meanwhile continued an anti-Zionist propaganda campaign. Israeli Communists were denounced for supporting Israel’s “aggressive policy” against the Arabs.
