Under the terms of the agreement between France and Germany signed in Rome, Jewish inhabitants of the Saar will be guaranteed full rights and protection for one year, during which they may liquidate their property or decide to remain under Hitlerite rule, since the result of the plebiscite is held to be a victory for Germany.
