Both the State of Michigan, and this city have officially taken cognizance of the American Jewish Tercentenary, resolutions to that effect having been passed by the State Legislature and by the Detroit City Common Council. Gov. G. Mennen Williams had already, by formal proclamation, declared the State’s devotion to the principles of the Tercentenary.
