Liberal M.P. Geoffrey Mander asked Colonial Secretary Ormssy-Gore in Commons yesterday whether members of the new Palestine technical commission would carry out both sections of the terms of reference, in view of the fact that the first part dealt with boundaries, political and strategic matters, while the second dealt with economic and financial questions. The Colonial Secretary replied that it certainly was the intention of the commission to carry out all parts of the terms of reference, which were interlocked.

Replying to Tom Williams, Laborite, Mr. Ormsby-Gore declared that he had not yet anything to add to his previous reply on immigration, in which he said that the policy for the period following March 31 had not yet been decided. He denied that the restrictive immigration policy was caused by the present depression in the Holy land.

The Palestine Committee in Commons has asked Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain to receive a delegation, it was reported today by the Daily Telegraph. Col. Josiah Wedgwood, Laborite, and Captain Victor Cazalet, are expected to be given an audience. A group of Parliamentarians interested in the Arab case is also reported asking Mr. Chamberlain to receive a delegation.
