Stormy Election Campaigning in Warsaw

The Jewish community of Warsaw is being flooded with propaganda literature and activities by all the Jewish parties contending in the Kehillah elections.

The elections are to take place on June 15th; in the meantime meetings are being held daily by all the parties. Some of the meetings have been very stormy, particularly those arranged by the Zionists. It has become the practice of the various parties to go to the meetings of their rivals to try to break them up. The Socialist Bundists are particularly active in this direction.

The Zionist ticket for the Warsaw Kehillah contains the names of Dr. Buchowsky, Dr. Meer Klumel, Dr. Gershon Lewine and Mr. Leon Lewite.

The ticket of the Volkist Party contains the names of Mr. Noah Prilutzki, the leader of the party and member of the Polish Sejm, and Thaim Resner.

The Bundist ticket contains Ehrlich and Portnoy; the Poale Zion, Zrubovel and Rafalkes.
