The Student Zionist Organization was urged here today to initiate a summer program for next year in which members of the group would serve in small Jewish communities as educators and youth leaders. Addressing the national convention of the SZO, Charles Kleinhaus, president of the organization, also called on the group to provide “a Jewish framework” for those members of the SZO who are planning to participate in civil rights projects in the South.
