Northwestern University’s Jewish students will conduct the entire first day Chanukah services at North Shore Congregation Israel as part of the first annual Hillel Day celebration of the University’s B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation. Paul Ziffren, Phyllis Kolinsky and Seymour Simon, all students, will speak.
On December 2 the Foundation will sponsor an exhibit of old coins and of the works of A. Raymond Katz, Jewish artist, who will speak. That evening, at Temple Mizpah, Dr. I. M. Rubinow, secretary of B’nai B’rith, will address a youths’ conference on “How Can the American Jewish Youth Readjust Themselves?”
