A nation-wide census of foreigners will be taken the week of Feb. 10, it was announced today. All foreigners will be asked to fill out questionnaires which will include such queries as: “Are you a political refugee?” “Are you a Jew?” “Are any of your parents Jewish?” In a radio broadcast, M. Bergstrom, head of the Welfare Department, declared the question on Jewish origin was important because it played an important part in international politics. He added that the Swedish Government did not wish to introduce any changes in the principles regulating its present policy on Jews.
