The Synagogue Council of America has joined in the sponsorship of the Religion-in-American-life campaign which will be opened formally on Oct. 30 by a radio address by President Truman, Dr. Bernard J. Bamberger, president of the Council, announced today. Sponsored by 20 religious bodies of all faiths, the campaign is a nationwide, interfaith movement intended to impress upon every American the “importance of religion and of religious institutions.
