Syria is not worthy to sit on the U.N. Security Council, according to Israel’s ambassador to the world body. During a U.N. Security Council debate June 13 on the Middle East crisis, Yehuda Lancry accused Syria of abetting terrorism, by allowing groups such as Islamic Jihad to be headquartered in Damascus.
