Premier Tatarescu today promised a delegation of Jewish leaders headed by Chief Rabbi Jacob Niemerowrer, that the strongest measures would be taken to preserve order throughout the country in the face of anti-Semitic agitation.
The deputation called on the Premier to warn of the critical situation of the Jews because of unabated incitement in anti-Semitic newspapers.
