Tekoah: Israel Must Act in Self Defense Against Containing Aggression from Lebanon

Yosef Tekoah, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations submitted a letter to Security Council President Jacques Kosciusko-Morizet stating that since April 29, eight Israelis were killed and 17 wounded “as a result of aggression from Lebanon.” He declared that “Israel holds the government of Lebanon responsible for all breaches of the cease-fire and all acts of aggression against Israel perpetrated from Lebanese territory. The continuation of aggression from Lebanese territory has created a situation In which Israel must reserve Its right to sot In self-defense.
