The Anti-Defamation League called the recent desecration of a Holocaust memorial in the northern Greek city of Salonika “alarming.” In a letter Wednesday, the ADL urged Prime Minister Constantine Simitis to publicly denounce anti-Semitism and “set a tone of tolerance” in Greece.
