The approaching school season presents a problem with regard to the refugees who are housed in school buildings in the principal cities. The mild climate of Tel Aviv enables the refugees to be accommodated in tents, but this is impossible elsewhere and the situation is becoming acute.

The curfew in Haifa has been relaxed further, allowing movement in the streets until eleven o’clock and in amusement places and cafes until ten.
