The car of an Indiana University Jewish student was vandalized with swastikas. The student, an active member of the university’s Hillel, found his car covered in red, spray-painted swastikas Monday, with the word “Jew” written on the car’s side, according to the Indiana Daily Student newspaper.

French Socialist legislators protested after the country’s finance minister accused a previous government of doing nothing to combat anti-Semitism. A Socialist legislator asked Nicolas Sarkozy about his address to the American Jewish Committee on a visit to the United States last week.
