The Center for Jewish History in New York, a collection that includes 100 million archival materials and 500,000 books, officially opened on Thursday. The Manhattan facility brings together the materials of five organizations: the American Jewish Historical Society, American Sephardi Federation, Leo Baeck Institute, YIVO Institute for Jewish Research and Yeshiva University Museum.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
