The European Association for Jewish Culture awarded its second annual Jewish creativity grants. The Polish-born author Eva Hoffman, the musical director of the klezmer supergroup Brave Old World and the cantor of Belgrade are among the 26 artists and projects in 13 countries receiving the awards.
