The European Economic Community has called on Israel to withdraw its forces from Lebanon and to end its occupation of territories taken during the Six-Day War. The statement on behalf of the 10-member EEC Countries was delivered by the Foreign Minister of Ireland, Peter Barry, in the course of his address to the 39th session of the UN General Assembly.
