The fervently Orthodox Shas party could stand to lose up to six of its 17 Knesset seats if elections were held soon, according to a poll sponsored by Israel Radio. The One Israel, Likud and Meretz parties would get more seats than they now have, the survey said. According to the poll, 56.6 percent of the public is opposed to holding new elections now.
