The Fifth International Jewish Children’s and Youth Art Festival opened in Moscow, bringing together some 500 participants from Israel and the former Soviet Union. The three-day event, sponsored by the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, includes performances by choirs, folk-dancing troupes and theater groups, and a painting exhibition.
