The House Monday approved a Congressional gold medal for Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal in recognition of his work in finding escaped war criminals. The vote in favor of the medal was 289-38. The bill was identical to one passed by the Senate in November and the legislation now goes to President Carter for final approval.
